It has small, dark grapes with soft skin, which equates to early ripening and light tannins.

A smooth wine with relatively low acidity, it provides a great base for a range of cuvée [blends].

In winemakers love to work with it for its versatility. Needless to say Merlot makes a beautiful wine by itself too.

Furmint is an exciting and very likeable variety, unique to Hungary.
An elegant choice with complexity and perhaps comparable only to the nicest Rhine Rieslings of Germany and Chardonnays of the Burgundy region.

An interesting fact that Furmint is one of the most important grape varieties in Hungary. It is mostly dry, however it is also the main ingredients of one of the world’s best sweet dessert wines, the Aszú.

Tramini ( Gewurztraminer ) is a rare and unique variety in Hungary with a fragrance of chamomile and elderflower.

It has floral notes and flavours of peach, pear. It is a great wine to be pared with Asian cuisine.
