Towards the end of March we submitted 887 signatures and comments through to the planning officer for inclusion in the planning application public comments.
Adding these has ensured we have documented the strength of feeling towards securing business continuity and safeguarding what residents need.

There is still a mass of stuff going on and no final answers to date bit we’ll keep you posted. Initial conversations have resulted in some amendments to plans but we think there should be much more engagement with the local businesses who have expertise in designing retail spaces that actually are viable!
The response to concerns and amended floor plans plus their calculations of total commercial area across all blocks are questionable, so we will be querying these. 🤓
