For wholesale trade & sustainability news see Borough Wines began life as a small stall on London’s Borough Market in 2002. Today there are two shops in London plus a smaller selection available online online, at www.boroughwines.co.uk. But most of the focus is now on wholesale with our pioneering Zero Waste range formats: Bottle Return, Refillable Kegs for Wine on Tap &

VinoTap - our zero waste alternative to Bag in Box. The range is still hand-picked, but it has grown quite a bit and now boasts a specific Zero Waste range for the formats above, which are designed to reduce our impact on the environment via less glass going into landfill (only 70% of glass is recycled in the UK) and a reduced carbon footprint via bulk transport, minimised materials and a more circular reuse model. Have you tried our first English Wine in ? An enchanting Pinot Gris with lemon zest, green apple and honeysuckle aromas leading to moreish and elegant fresh citrus fruit flavours on the palate with lovely weight and a long, saline finish.

Thanks for this zesty little number now we just need to pop to to grab a nice piece of sole to serve with lashings of caper butter...

Our Story

Founded in 2002 in a stall at Borough Market by Muriel Chatel, Borough Wines are the only refillable wine keg in the UK. Pairing quality with sustainability, we supply high quality wineon tap to restaurants, bars and venues, with an in–house cellar tech team providing expert installation services and ongoing support.

We source wines from around the world, transport it in bulk to minimise environmental impact and put it into our unique refillable kegs at our specialised London facility.

Stored in keg, this wine stays perfectly fresh and flavourful, while the tap technology delivers a consistent, high quality serve, from the first to the final glass (and all 200 glasses in between!). Borough Wines Imports is approved by the Sustainable Restaurant Association and our wine on tap system can be found in restaurants, bars and venues across the UK.

Borough Wines Imports also provides a unique consultation service for independent retailers, creating bespoke wine retail packages called Borough Wines Corners, in farm shops, delis and convenience outlets nationwide.
