Shoplifter Alert:

This post is to notify other business owners and to see if anyone recognises this trio who have come in twice and done a grab and run and left without paying.
Incidents Saturday 23rd 9.30pm and Sunday 1.30pm

Police have been informed and I will update the post with a crime ref number.

We believe they are based locally as the person in the left photo has been seen by Aldi on Bearwood Road. (Customer has reported)
The photo on the right he wore a berry hat in the one incident.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON BIN COLLECTIONS

Industrial action is continuing to impact on all bin collections and street cleansing.

This week, vehicles have been unable to leave or return to the depots due to access being prevented by the picket line.

Crews will continue their efforts over the weekend to collect domestic and garden waste bins, but regrettably, the disruption means that many bins will not be collected and these collections will roll forward into next week.

Recycling and food waste will not be collected.

Please make sure your bins are out for 5.30am as bin crews are starting work earlier over the summer months - the earlier collection times will be in place until the end of September.

The tip is now open earlier, from 7am until 4pm. Vans are still required to book in advance, but, while there are delays to collections, car drivers can attend without an appointment as long as they can show proof of address (Council Tax bill or utility bill).

The focus by both Sandwell Council and Serco is to ensure that the disruption caused to bin collections by industrial action is kept to a minimum. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We hope talks can continue and that a resolution can be found as soon as possible.

Warning All Local Shops Prolific Shoplifters Female and Male accomplice
Update 23/6/23

This person was caught leaving Global Foods next door last week.
Despite being caught and barred she has been in store here again last night taking items without paying.
Police and local pcso have been informed.

This person is wanted for shoplifting earlier this evening at 18.07pm.
She is carrying a distinctive pink backpack with the logo PUMA

If anyone knows her, let her know she still has the chance to return the goods before the police come knocking!!!
Local Pcso and neighbourhood watch teams have been sent her photo.
