there be a basket on our counter from 6am-9am on school days with an apple or banana free for children of school age for breakfast/snack while stocks last🍏🍎🍌
We hope to continue this during school term as long as it’s not abused

This morning I was wakened at 6.10am by a customer phoning to tell me the shop wasn’t open. I forgot Avril and I had swapped shifts.
I phoned Av … to find this out 🫣😆
I rushed to work, to find Avril, opening the doors as I arrived. She had got there before me. She then stayed with me to save me being in a gigantic mess.

We are so blooming lucky to have such an amazing bunch of girls working with us…
And being the front of house for our beautiful, busy wee shop ❤️

it's a special kind of pleasure to be able to supply something you made to an absolute pillar of your own wee community. The Corner Shop in Cellardyke is ran by some of the kindest people I have ever met and they took a chance on my weird stinky cabbage. From the start of my business, one of my main goals was to introduce kimchi to everyone, not just the clientele of specialist stores. I feel like this is a step exactly in that direction and I couldn't be more excited ☺️

We are so lucky to have this team of fabulous ladies in the shop!!
We were like Christmas elves on Thursdays Night Shift, putting the shop back together.
Laura is missing, as she’s really unwell, we all missed her!!
John and I are so thankful to have the support of our staff. Nothing is ever a problem, shifts always get covered no bother. Always smiling… and doing their best to look after the customers.
We truly couldn’t ask for a better bunch.
Hopefully we will all benefit from the makeover the shop has had 😊
It is looking fabulous!!!!…. And we are delighted with it…… but behind the scenes, we are still in a guddle 🫣… so you’ll have to bear with us.
In saying that… we feel just as lucky to have the wonderful customers that we do. We have been overwhelmed with the positive response from pretty much everyone, and the understanding everyone has shown over the inconvenience of closing.

Closing for 4days!!!

Massive apologies to everyone that relies on us for daily things 🫣

We are giving our wee shop a makeover!!!

Can’t make it any bigger…. But it’s going to be better 😊

We will close on Monday 6th March, and reopen on Friday 10th March.

Usual hours outwith…
6am - 7pm

Evri deliveries will stop for these days, and there won’t be an option to have your parcel delivered to the shop.

Many, many thanks to all our customers who support us throughout the year. We wouldn’t be here without you.
