Due to the law changing, from Monday 31st May, we as a shop must charge 10p for our standard plastic bags with the governments aim to reduce plastic pollution. This is not for monetary gain and we have decided that from the sales of the 10p bags we will be donating that money to a different local charity every month. We would like to thank our customers for their custom over the past year and this is just a friendly reminder for the charge that we have to place on the bags from Monday onwards, if you can we encourage customers to re-use bags and we do offer bags for life (our large red carrier bags) for a cost of 20p which can be re-used a number of times.

As some of you may be aware Callabys Store are holding a free pancake day themed treasure hunt this Tuesday.

Please make sure you register your child’s name over the weekend to ensure their is a sweet treat when you have finished.

The treasure hunt resource will be available from 9 on Tuesday morning within the store, you just collect this resource before you begin the hunt. The hunt will take place through Alford and will finish where it begins at Callabys. When you reach Callabys you should confirm the winning word with a member of staff so you can receive the winning sweet treat!

I hope this confirms any confusion, please remember to sign names up within the store.

Due to it being half term there will be no new packs within the store tomorrow and over the next week. However next Tuesday (pancake day) there will be a themed treasure hunt around Alford, this will follow lockdown rules!

If you would like to take part please register the name of your child’s/children’s names in store with a member of staff.

The end of the treasure hunt will finish in Callabys Store with a sweet treat to celebrate the last day before the start of Lent.

Well done to everyone who has taken an activity pack, you have all worked so hard!
