Feeding the birds 🐦

Now in stock are new bird foods and feeders with everything to keep the birds fed over the winter.

This is situated in our new side shop where we also stock logs, kindlers, coal, ovoids, peat, kerosene, adblue, chicken feed, and dog food.

If there is anything else you'd like to see in there or if you can come up with a name for that area of the shop please share with us.

☆☆☆☆UPDATE☆☆☆☆

The collection will be on Sunday 15th December.

Whilst we are grateful for all gifts, gifts are preferred rather than food items as there are other charities supporting food distribution.

A reminder we are a drop off point for the VSA and Original 106 Christmas Delivered Campaign this year. They will be collecting from us this Friday 13th December, so plenty time to donate if you can, to a worthwhile cause.

Today is a reflection day at Central Garage as we say a fond farewell to Janet on her last day of work as although she doesn't officially retire to the end of the month, today is her last shift.

So as Janet switches over the fuel pumps, closes the till, mops the floor and locks the door for the last time, we are sure you will join us in wishing Janet the very best of health and happiness in retirement.

Janet started her journey with us on 6th April 2019, and quickly became family. She has worked extremely hard, always smiling, looked after us all, and has supported our little family business and community massively.

We can't thank you enough Janet for your loyal service. Have the best Retirement as you so deserve it, and we know we will keep in touch.

Thank you to Stewart Harron with support of KildrummyGlenkindie Estate for helping clear the forecourt this morning. Stewart always goes above and beyond to help out when he can, and it is very much appreciated.

Thank you also to all our delivery drivers for getting our supplies to us, and hopefully all being well and roads cleared en-route George's fresh fish will be here too, we'll update here if he can't make it.

We will close at 11am tomorrow Saturday 16th November, this is to allow all staff to attend Janet's retirement lunch. If any papers are not collected by this time please notify us and we can leave in the box.

The out of hours fuel terminal will be active so fuel can still be purchased.

Friday 8th November

Thank you very much to our Electrician yesterday and our very kind local, Ryan Wilson for providing a generator that kept the business running all day, we can't thank you enough for going above and beyond to support us.

Unfortunately due to a property not allowing access our pole hasn't been changed and so will cause another day of disruption, which as a business we could seriously do without.

Thanks to all our customers and suppliers for your support and understanding.

POWER

As most of the local community will know, a lot of the area will be without power all day tomorrow Thursday 7th November.

We have kindly been offered a generator by a very generous local for the day and we have an electrician coming this evening to set it up, so fingers crossed we will have no interruption to services tomorrow.

If anyone is stuck for hot water, charge phones etc, please pop in and we'll do our best to help.

If anything changes we will update here.
