Timber Roots News- Forest Fires in Canada.

Hello everyone, Kimberly here, today’s news would be talking about the fires that is happening across Canada. Before the fires were hit in Canada, Many spots across Canada had been hit by the Heat Wave. With B.C. there are 306 active fires, several places had to be evacuated, in Northwestern Ontario, near Thunder Bay and including four First Nation Reservation lands. The four first nations are Deer Lake First Nation, Poplar Hill First Nation, and Pikangikum First Nation are forced to be evacuated while Red Lake First Nation has been warned to be prepared to leave. There are fires in Quebec and Saskatchewan. Now back to B.C. Fires, all the people in BC are angry with the BC government as they are not calling for state of emergency, the people in BC feels that the government should do this so we can help get BC forest fires in control as it is all over the province as seen in the map shown. BC has some help from the NS forest fire crews, Ontario is getting some help from Mexico Forest Fire crews, across the country, we all are working hard to put a stop to the forest fire. With the fires happening, as you know our air quality goes from clean to bad quality, for some people who have breathing problems, like Asthma or relies on oxygen, it is recommend that they stay indoors with windows closed. The air quality in Calgary and Edmonton is being recorded as bad due to the smoke coming from BC Fires.
