An Loy, is their ‘Whiskymaker’s Signature Selection’ whereby they carefully selected their classic single malt whisky from a combination of 60% first use Bourbon casks for a delicate, clean presentation, 15% from Dr. Swans wonderful Portuguese STR red-wine barriques for pronounced oak and sweet red-berry contribution, and 15% Oloroso / 10% PX Spanish Sherry casks for wonderful, rich and delicate fruit cake and plums.
Together they compliment the tropical fruits and creamy presentation of their new-make house style (which garnered a Gold Medal at the prestigious World Whiskies Awards) to create the following tasting notes for this, our inaugural release whisky:

Nose: Fruit, floral and Sherry notes followed with oak, vanilla, malt, and sea breeze.

Palate: Creamy, caramelized orange, vanilla, potpourri, fruit cake, blackcurrant, honey, wood spices, and lingering oak.

This particular type of fortified wine from Jerez, Spain, is intensely and naturally sweet with notes of honey and candied fruits – a final touch that gives our rum rare length and complexity.

🐉 Le Dragon de Quintus is the second wine of Château Quintus.
The name originates from the dragon statue that towers above the magical terroir of Saint-Emilion, perched high upon the promontory, where the estate is located.

This stunning wine showcases a beautiful red color with mauve highlights.
The bouquet is ripe and intense, brimming with the aroma of crunchy red fruit, particularly cherry, with oak already well-integrated.
On the palate, it begins smoothly, revealing excellent fruit and developing softly with plenty of rich, non-aggressive tannins.
Unquestionably the most full and complete Dragon de Quintus since 2011.

This rosato of 80% barbera and 20% pinot nero comes from the Monferrato hills. A short maceration gives the moderate pink hue, while a stainless ferment preserves the bright fruit.
Crunchy plum/wild strawberries is lit with a red currant acidity, gliding this dry pink along a sleek frame through a subtly spiced finish.

An "onion skin" colour with orangey hues. Very bright. Hints of raspberry and citrus fruits stand out in the nose. In the mouth: refreshing, tasty and intense. Very persistent.
