Sipping some Argentinian wines this Saturday 🕺💃

2021 Riglos Quinto Chardonnay - intense yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose it is expressive and elegant, with delicate aromas of white peach and citrus touches. The finish is lengthy, with a refreshing acidity.

2017 Huarpe Gualtallary Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc
This ripe red shows loads of toasty notes. Dark plum and currant flavours dominant, showing plenty of smoky accents in the mix. Asian spice details fill the creamy finish, along with hints of licorice.

2021 Quinta de Paços Arinto Reserva is bright lemon in colour with green hints. On the nose, intense notes of stone fruit, ripe lemon and candied orange peel are married with subtle floral notes and toasty nuances.

2017 Quadrus is a full-bodied Touriga Nacional with some Tinta Roriz and Sousão added to the mix. From a hot vintage, this is a voluptuous red with ripe blackberry, dark cherry, anise and sweet to***co spice flavours. Very generous and juicy on the palate.

Burgundy meets the Rhone 🍷 an utter respect for tradition, and in some ways a total break. We've watched as Mounir and Rotem Saouma, of Burgundy producer Lucien LeMoine, slowly developed their estate and wines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and the results are too extraordinary and distinct to ignore.
Every year Mounir will select several crus to age in Amphorae, where they will remain untouched for around a year. Then there's a gentle pressing and bottling. These wines transmit the characteristics of their terrior in a pure, unvarnished manner. Not normal wines, but then again nothing Mounir Saouma does is normal.

2021 Chateau Trocard Rouge made from a blend of 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc & 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark & lush with ripe red cherries & black fruit followed by gentle spice on the palate 🍷

2021 Brusset Cairanne Blanc 🇫🇷 is a bright refreshing blend of Viognier, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Clairette. Floral notes are predominant, especially hawthorn, with hunts of exotic fruit and apricots on the palate.

2018 Riglos Gran Malbec 🇦🇷 is deep violet red in colour, its aromas are intense and concentrated, with hints of black and red fruits. In the mouth, it is persistent, full of juicy yet firm tannins and balanced acidity.

This delightful light white is the perfect patio sipper for a warm summer day. With a nose of green apple touched with honey, it's evocative of the lovely hilltop village in Umbria for which it is named. It carries a slightly sweet finish balanced with fresh acidity.

2019 Querceto di Castelina Chianti Classico L'Aura ...
Composed entirely of Sangiovese raised in French oak for 12 months, it is floral with a perfume of ripe red cherry, fresh rose petal, and well-integrated oak spices of vanilla and cinnamon.
