The history books mark 1731 as the year that the British Royal Navy started offering its sailors a half-pint of rum as part of their wages. Promising full-bodied flavor and rich color, rum has been an integral part of the region’s history for hundreds of years.

Today, 1731 stands for a unique range of rums, each with a distinctive character that speaks volumes about where it comes from. The collection consists exclusively of rums that proudly boast their natural colour and flavour without relying on additives.

The 1731 collection consists of unique regional rum blends and unique single origin rums ranging from Central America to the tip of the South American continent.

Copper Fox USA Whisky instore now!

Copper Fox dedicate themselves to making truly great American spirits. Combining inspired innovation and venerable tradition, they are taking fine whisky to new levels, producing ground-breaking and unique flavour profiles.

Hand-crafted with original ideas and locally-sourced ingredients, each barrel starts from scratch with their own hand-malted barley. They flavour the grain with fruitwood smoke and age the spirit with a progressive series of new and used fruitwood chips in used bourbon barrels.

All of the grains used are grown locally by one farmer, and the 6-row Thoroughbred barley was developed for Copper Fox at Virginia Tech. They floor malt the barley in the traditional style, which allows them to develop and maintain a connection to the grain throughout our entire production process.

Their innovation begins in the kiln, where instead of peat, they use local fruitwoods that gently smoke and dry the grain.

Copper Fox is the only distillery on the planet to mature their whisky with toasted Applewood. This process further develops and enhances the flavour of the smoky malt, resulting in a complex and singular flavour experience.

All of their products are non-chill filtered, allowing the natural oils to deliver to you the rich, full flavour of their grain.

Yes, Christmas Eve is a big day in the Liquor Barons Maylands calendar but even more important than that, it was Nic’s last day today💔

Nic has worked with us since day 1 and has given his 100% every time he showed up to work. In 2023 he will begin his journey as a doctor and there is no man more suited to the job of caring for people👨🏼‍⚕️

Despite the ridiculous banter we have and the 17 years of friendship where we don’t always say this sort of stuff but I thank and love you dearly, mate❤️

Yesterday we had a ‘Friends of Henry’s’ Christmas Gathering and it was one of the most special days we’ve experienced since opening either venue🍺

Steve and I didn’t organize this one, rather, our amazing community of regulars formed a committee and planned everything themselves. From the kitchen to door prizes and even a charity auction, these lovely people donated their time and community love to celebrate the merriest of Christmases🎄

It felt like a family celebration on Christmas Day because, after all, we are a little family at Henry. Whatever happens in the future, we will treasure the Friends of Henry’s forever – they’re the reason we come to work❤️
