It is with considerable sadness that I have to announce that after eight years, I have decided that I will close the business at the end of my current lease.

Back in September 2015, I set about rebuilding this venue with a vision of bringing to this community a comfortable, good value venue for catching up for a drink or taking home some great value booze.
The focus has always been on showcasing the value and extraordinary talents of our home-grown, independent and family-run wine makers and brewers. It has been a real privilege to be part of this amazing industry and to share my passion with you all.
I hope that many of you have enjoyed the ride as much as I have.

I will be forever grateful to all the loyal customers, staff, suppliers, wine makers, brewers and other industry people that have made this possible and will leave me with very happy and fond memories of the experience.

I feel that now is the time to re-acquaint myself with my family and old friends and move onto the next challenge.

I will be closing the bar on Saturday 23rd September, but will be open for take away sales (depending on stock) for a few more days after that as I pack up the store.

Hope to see as many of you as possible over these last days for a last drink and a chat.
I will miss you all.
Cheers,
Dom 😉
