A noteworthy one, 's 100% Tasmanian Single Malt Sherry Cask is a delicate and subtle Tasman whisky, with a slight aroma of sweetened candied nectar and a dried fruit spice nose, with an undertone of butter.

This is followed by an extremely smooth palate with sweetened white wines, raisins, pink candy and citrus warmth with just a touch of oak.

Here’s another Christmas-inspired festive cocktail that you can make for your guests whilst you get on your Kris Kringle!

◾️200 ml SodaStream sparkling water
◾️190 g canned lychees, drained
◾️1 cup ice cubes
◾️90 ml Gin
◾️500 g strawberries, hulled and finely chopped
◾️2 tbsp maple syrup
◾️1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
◾️1 tsp vanilla extract
◾️Juice of half a lemon
◾️Pinch of salt
◾️For the Mint Layer
◾️1 cup crushed ice
◾️30 mint leaves, finely chopped

1️⃣To prepare the SodaStream sparkling water, fill a SodaStream 1 Litre Bottle with cold water and carbonate.

2️⃣Place all ingredients for the lychee layer in a blender and process until the consistency is similar to a slushie.

3️⃣Place strawberries, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon and salt in a glass jar. Using a muddler, crush and soften the strawberries and spices to release the flavours and aroma.

4️⃣Mix crushed ice and mint in a small bowl.

5️⃣To serve, divide the lychee mixture equally between two 400ml capacity stemless glasses. Divide and ladle the strawberry mixture over the lychee mixture in the glasses. Top with mint and crushed ice.

6️⃣Top each glass with 100ml sparkling water and serve.

Put your hands together for... Corowa Distillery! It began in Corowa NSW when the Druce family bought an old, dilapidated flour mill for $1. Determined to restore it they revamped this old building into a world-class distillery. Then employing one of the youngest distillers in the country to look at the ancient art of distilling through fresh eyes, the team set about making truly great whisky.⁠

“It begins with the Barley – using a traditional barley variety that is grown locally in regional NSW. This variety is typically lower yield than others but produces consistently great flavour.⁠
⁠
We then add water – sourced from the local water supplies and our own water storage, we mash onsite daily.⁠
⁠
And then we wait – once distilled we lay our spirit in a mix of locally sourced as well as the finest barrels from around the world. Our climate in Corowa varies 15 degrees every day, this is ideal for allowing the whisky to mature at a faster rate while not compromising on quality.⁠
