Spotlight: Trizanne Sondagskloof White

An interesting one. A little bit of skin contact, a little bit of barrel fermentation and out pops this brilliant, vibrant Sauvignon Blanc. Underlying minerality, crisp freshness and just a solid, solid wine. Great stuff.

We have a new release on our shelves at The Vineyard Connection!

Craig and Anne Wessels farm some of Hemel-en-Aarde’s oldest Chardonnay and Cabernet vineyards with Restless River. This year’s release proves, once again, they’ve nailed the balance between freshness and depth in their wines. It’s real, it’s raw, and it’s top quality.

An unexpected double tasting yesterday with a visit from the Legend Kevin Arnold, with his first release of The Family Syrah, probably one of the best Syrahs we have tasted; and Clarise with her delicious Il Geco wines. Quite an accolade to be told by Kevin that it was the best Sangiovese outside of Italy that he had tasted!
