Light, flaky, and irresistibly delicious—vol-au-vents are the ultimate bite-sized indulgence! These delicate puff pastry cases filled with a creamy chicken and mushroom filling are perfect for parties, brunches, or an everyday treat. 😍✨

📌 Chicken & Mushroom Vol-au-Vents

Ingredients:
✔️ 12 ready-made vol-au-vent pastry cases from Global Cuisine
✔️ 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
✔️ 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
✔️ 2 tbsp butter
✔️ 1 small onion, finely diced
✔️ 1 clove garlic, minced
✔️ 1 tbsp flour
✔️ ½ cup milk
✔️ ¼ cup cream (optional for extra richness)
✔️ ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
✔️ Salt & pepper to taste
✔️ Fresh parsley for garnish

Method:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake vol-au-vent cases as per package instructions.
2️⃣ In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions & garlic, sauté until soft.
3️⃣ Add mushrooms & cook until golden. Stir in flour & cook for 1 min.
4️⃣ Gradually whisk in milk & cream, stirring continuously until thickened.
5️⃣ Add shredded chicken, nutmeg, salt & pepper. Cook for 2 mins until heated through.
6️⃣ Fill vol-au-vent cases with the creamy mixture. Garnish with parsley & serve warm!
