Today's tasting from 11am to 2pm features Afro Caribbean Brewing Co.! 🌴🍺

It all began with a few pints and a home-brew system in Shawn Duthie's garden. From there, Greg and Shawn upscaled, brewing cool beers like their renowned RIS and Bacon Chilli. Fast forward to the birth of Afro Caribbean Brewing Co and Tap Room, a dream realized after revamping the kitchen at Banana Jam Cafe.

Since 2015, they've been brewing up a storm, and today, you get to taste the result! Join us as we raise a glass to their journey — a testament to the spirit of independent brewing, innovation, and a whole lot of craft beer fun. 🌟

Join us for our weekly tasting today from 4pm. We'll be tasting Blake Family Wines's 16 Mile Beach range. Here are some tasting notes below! 🍇

2022 BLOMTUIN: PINOTAGE, SHIRAZ, MALBEC. 🍓
Blomtuin is a blend of Pinotage, Shiraz & Malbec. This elegant red wine is juicy with ripe berries on the nose.

2023 SWEMGAT: CHENIN BLANC, COLOMBARD 🍇
This fruit driven dry white wine is a blend of Chenin Blanc and Colombard. This wine has an abundance of flavours on the nose - guava, apricot and passion-fruit.

2023 ROOIPAN: PINOTAGE ROSÈ 🍋
This delightful Rosè made from Pinotage, has orange and lemon zest on the nose and a lingering after taste. The Rosè is best enjoyed chilled. This is a wine to be enjoyed in the summer with a light chicken dish or salad.
