Starting 1 December 2024, TRAC N4 toll plazas will no longer accept magstripe (swipe) card payments. To pay at tolls, please use one of the following options:

🔹 Contactless-enabled debit/credit cards (EMV)
🔹 Smart devices (smartphones, smartwatches) linked to contactless payment apps (e.g., Apple Pay, Samsung Pay)
🔹 TRAC tags for fast, convenient toll access
🔹 Cash

This update enhances payment security and supports a smoother experience at tolls. Make sure you’re ready for the transition! 💳

Please note the delay of the July fuel price changes by one day ie now effective Thursday 4th July (12h00 midnight Wednesday 3rd July)

This is the formal position as received from the DMRE and any other correspondence received must be ignored. There will be further correspondence tomorrow after approval from the Minister after he is sworn in tomorrow.

The department has apologised for the inconvenience and confusion caused by the delay.

TRACN4 RALLY GEARED UP TO WOW MOTORSPORT FANS IN DULLSTROOM!
The South African National Rally Championship’s flagship round, the TRACN4 Rally, is set to once again wow fans on November 17 and 18 in Dullstroom, Mpumalanga.

This is the fourth consecutive year that this motorsport event, which boasts a strong local flavour for teams and spectators, is being held in the eMakhazeni region, renowned for its touristic vibe and deep-rooted culture. The 2023 TRACN4 Rally is the final leg of the South African National Rally Championship, which is also the oldest, consecutive championship in South African motorsport. This year's championship, which started in May in Secunda, has been one of the most action-packed yet with stiff competition between the teams ensuring that the final rally of the year will be one for the record books.
