Springfield's Thunderchild is a very well mixed blend of red wine. As good as the wine is, is the purpose of this wine is as well. There is an orphanage in Robertson that had 5hectares spare. A vineyard was planted there and every year as the grapes are harvested do they use it to make Thunderchild wine. 100% of the profits on this wine is donated to the orphanage every year to assist them in keeping their doors open.

Another Gem in the Springfield range, the Whole Berry Cabernet Sauvignon. Made like our ancestors did, harvested by hand, carried in baskets and placed uncrushed into open tanks to ferment with the natural yeast of the grapes into wine. No pumps no crushers. Then left to ferment for a year in oak barrels. This wine is unfiltered and you might find a little sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Its taste is amazing with softer tannins, pure drinking pleasure created the same as centuries ago.
