We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful customers for the support over the 2+ years. It has been so wonderful to get to know all of you! We’ve enjoyed chatting with you when you popped in to buy your booze or while you enjoyed some vino or beer at our tastings. With very sad hearts, we wish to inform you that the store (35 Newport Ave) has been sold, as the Booze Guy prepares to start a new adventure in Cape Town. We handed over the keys on 1 November to the new owner, Yudi. We wish him and his family all the best with the store. Please continue to support the store as Yudi has many exciting things planned.

Tonny, who has been the most incredible manager, will be staying on so not to worry, you’ll still be seeing his friendly face. We can’t thank him enough for his hard work, determination and vest for learning. It’s an honour to call you part of the Booze Guy family. Thank you, Tonny💙

We promise this isn’t the last you’ve seen of us. The Booze Guy will be hosting wine and beer tastings throughout KZN for the next couple of months so keep an eye out! We’ll be posting events and updates on this page so stay tuned. We can’t wait to take The Booze Guy to Cape Town!
