A stones throw from Parliament, at the end of a cul-de-sac our tiny distillery goes about its business finding fresh ways of creating and introducing people to quality, modern spirits. Although we more than appreciate traditional methods and the history of distillation, the notion that ‘older is better’ could not be further from our opinionated truth. It's infused with amazing floral and nutty notes thanks to unique ingredients such as Toasted Coconut, Black Sesame, Watermelon Seeds and Tulips.

In 2023, we launched Unconditional Gin, featuring a tulip on the label - as an ode to Andre’s wife, Famke.

This year, we’ve added some new flowers to the range and decided to rebrand to Mom Gin - same liquid, same unconditional love.

Kalahari Truffles approached us almost a year ago to collaborate with them to create South Africa’s most unique, premium truffle-infused spirits.

Only available for harvest 5 weeks a year, the elusive Kalahari Truffle has a textured, Umami flavour with floral, herbaceous notes and a subtle tannin. Because the Kalahari Truffle is so rare, only a limited number of bottles can be produced each year, with this years harvest yielding only 20kgs of dried truffle.

Pienaar & Son is the proud production partner for Kalahari Truffles we are so excited to see what the future holds for this exciting new brand!
