The infamous guy fawkes day has arrived. We request residents to please only use demarkated areas for the discharging of fireworks and not your back yard or public park. Please be considerate towards your neighbors and community and the animals we all love so dearly.

Anyone who wishes to report someone for the illegal bursting of fireworks can call Law Enforcement on 0214807700(call centre cell line) or 107(landline)

Most importantly keep the various animal welfare organization contact numbers handy to call for distressed animals. Do remember they are inundated with calls and requests for assistance but will do there best to help. The attached pictures are ways that you can assist them in their work.

Good morning residents

We urgently request residents to check there properties and seperate entrance or storage rooms to see if you have had a break in.

Timeframe was between 00:00- 06:00(early hours of this morning 23 October 2018). If you have had your house broken into and notice things were stolen please contact us ASAP.

Houses that might be the victim of the crime was more in the vicinity of kendal rd between Rivardo rd and Clive rd up to Turfhall road. However could be elsewhere in the area also.

Please only pass on to people living in the area of lansdowne and crawford between Jan smuts and the railway line and Kromboom and Turfhall rd

For those residents who were a bit sceptical about the people with a vehicle taking stuff out of the bins in the area(not the bin scratchers who make a mess or throw your dirt out to take your black bags) These are the people collecting recyclables. Please read, share, and assist them in keeping our environment clean!

At the age of 25, young men and women are often seen studying, living their dream career or partying until late at night. But for two young men from ward 60, taking up a challenge to clear their community of all sorts of waste seemed more interesting

The gentleman in the picture was found wandering in belthorn after 6 this evening. He said his name is Nicholas but isn't 100% sure. He does not know where he lives or any relatives names/number either. Kindly share to friends and family so we can reunite him with his family as soon as possible. He is currently at lansdowne SAPS

UPDATE: we had two separate incidents happening in the area of Lansdowne close to the train station.

Incident 1: girl was robbed by 2 guys. Both have been caught and taken to saps. Victim is also at saps and being assited.

Incident 2: attempted hijacking of a blue/black BMW by 2bravo males and 1 bravo female. Still on the run and wearing white t-shirts with blue jeans.

Help needed!!!

We are urgently seeking the owner of a pitbull dog in the Crawford area. The dog is currently with another pitbull, roaming the streets.

However, we fear they may be taken by the wrong person if they don't make there way home soon or attack another dog.

!!!POSSIBLE STOLEN PROPERTY FOUND!!!
Good morning all.

We were notified about a jet ski on a trailor that was abandoned on a property in the lansdowne/crawford area possibly between 12-2am this morning.

Lansdowne SAPS was called but can't remove the object as no case has been reported as yet.

Kindly share this post so that hopefully its rightful owner will see it and report it to saps as soon as possible.
