We’re announcing that Getwine has made a strategic decision to sell our Claremont store, Getwine & Liquors, to focus on expanding our online presence. According to our COO, Johan Wegner, this move allows us to reinforce our core online business, following recent acquisitions of well-known online wine retailers like Cybercellar, Wine4All, Boucheron Wines, and SaleWine.

But rest assured, Cape Town locals—our beloved Getwine & Liquors store on Harrington Street in the CBD remains open, serving the community just as it has since 1990.

Alongside this shift, we’ve introduced two NEW services: the rapidly growing Getwine Wine Club and an international shipping option, making it easier for ex-pats and global wine lovers to enjoy South African wines anywhere in the world!
