If you're looking for a place to rehome your live Christmas trees this season, consider recycling them within your community.

While most trees are turned into mulch, some communities use recycled trees for rabbit/small game habitats, and others, such as Delhi Township, feed the collected trees to sheep and other animals.

We're still working to help our friends at Zeeland Farm Services with their 2024 calendar.

If you haven't submitted your photos for the 2024 ZFS calendar, now is the time to get those calendar photo submissions in for your chance to earn a $50 Visa gift card. 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙉𝙤𝙫. 5.

We received some excellent submissions, so far, and always looking for more. Get outside and snap a few images of your community farms for the 2024 ZFS calendar. Multiple submissions are encouraged.

If we choose yours there's a $50 gift card ready for you.
With general agriculture as the calendar theme this year, we're looking for anything ag related from equipment to animals to farm landscapes.

PLEASE BE SAFE WHEN VISITING FARM AREAS ALONG THE ROADSIDE. And please be respectful of private property.

Like many other calendars, we use landscape/horizontal layout photos taken in large, hi-res format. These are best for calendar printing. If you use your phone to take pics you can adjust your camera settings at any time.

You can submit using the form on our website or send them to [email protected]. We're always excited to see the new images submitted every year. Good luck!

Thanks so much to everyone who stopped in to play games, enjoy some treats and jump in the bounce house during our 2023 Customer Appreciation event yesterday.

The Kountin' Kernels game was especially popular and we're happy to announce the winners.
There were 1237 corn kernels in the kids jar and 1478 corn kernels in the adults jar.
Kids up to age 14 entered to win 4 tickets to a Whitecaps game. With the guess of 1261 our kids winner is Landon Driesenga!

Adults age 15 and up entered to win an RTIC 32-qt cooler full of goodies, a carton of Callaway golf balls and 2, 18 rounds of golf at the Crestview Golf Club
With a guess of 1500 our adults winner is Tiffany miles!

We'll be contacting the winners who will be able to pick up their prizes at the Anew Fuel Center. Congratulations to our winners!

We're looking to fill the Assistant Manager position.

Position requires a H.S. diploma or GED.
Past experience in a convenience store or fuel station is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead staff, help customers and work with upper management.
Great customer service skills.
In-depth knowledge of the managing store sales, tracking of damages, deposit logs, scheduling, new hire paperwork and training.
Ability to pass or already have obtained training and certification in safe food handling practices.

Duties include the following, but are not a complete list for the position:
Lead Anew Crewmembers in providing an outstanding customer service to all visitors of the location.
Operate and utilize and supervise Anew Crew Member’s operation of a sales register system.
The assistant manager will train on and develop and understanding of the i-Rely back office functions and learn the task of reconciling daily business.
When assigned, the Assistant manager will perform banking duties in the absence of the General Manager.
Assistant Manager will have the capacity to pass food safety training as needed or required and ensure that employees follow all quidelines of safe food handling.
The assistant manage will work with other members of the team on the schedule to carry out the needs and duties as required.

WE ARE HIRING

The Borculo Fuel Services Crew Members focus on outstanding customer service, as well as, food preparation and service, including hot and cold food preparation as needed while maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards. Crew members are expected to serve customers in a friendly and helpful way, while maintaining general appearance and cleanliness of store premises. Flexible hours, with the availability to pick up extra shifts as available.
Hourly Rate: Monday - Friday (until 4:00pm) = $15.00
Hourly Rate: Monday - Friday (after 4:00pm) = $16.00
Weekend Rate: Friday (until 4:00pm) - Sunday = $17.00
Weekend Rate: Friday (after 4:00pm) - Sunday = $18.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors, including interacting with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
Operate sales register system as trained and maintain a correct balance of cash.
Operate other business equipment as necessary in order to process financial transactions, process faxes, etc...
Use time management skills in order to maintain a clean and attractive store.
Food safety training will be provided. Employees will follow all quidelines of safe food handling.
Employee will work with other members of the team on duty to carry out the needs of shift and business as required.
Qualifications
Past experience in a convenience store or fuel station is preferred, but not required. Great guest service is essential. Must be people-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable.
