Cigar of the Week 6/27/2025: Tatuaje Fausto FT187

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Maduro
Filler: Nicaragua
Binder: Nicaragua

Tomorrow is the BIG event! So, I figured it was only appropriate to pick not only a Tatuaje, but a big cigar to go with our party!

This cigar starts out with that awesome Tatuaje earthiness, that also has a nice richness to it right away! With that, comes a good amount of leather. Almost immediately after the leather, a bit of spice joins in. And though the spices don’t last too long, there is a very interesting, bread-like doughy flavor that is really nice.
Getting into the second third of this stick, initially brings out more sweetness, and even a little bit of caramel, but it brings out that spicy flavor. Shortly after that, espresso forward notes come out. There is also a paprika flavor that joins in, that I really enjoy! There are some flavors of cedar coming out nearing the end of the second third.
The final third has the most richness at this point, as notes of chocolate come out. There are also notes of coffee joining in, at this point. There is also a slightly nutty taste that comes out. There is also a good amount of pepper that joins in now. I must add, I don’t smoke a lot of ci**rs this size- but I like to switch it up, and this really has been an enjoyable cigar! Hello everyone! 🎉

It’s hard to believe I’m making this post, but today marks our 3️⃣ year anniversary of opening!!! 🥳

Of course, we have our party / Tatuaje event this Saturday (28th) at noon to officially celebrate 🎈🍾, but I just wanted to make this post, expressing just how much we appreciate everyone supporting us over the last 3 years!!! We’ve been able to meet absolutely amazing people, and build lifelong friendships!

To honor our 3 year anniversary, we will be offering a discount on almost everything in the store! 💥🛍️

Cigar of the Week 6/20/2025: Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Candente

Wrapper: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Binder: Nicaragua

This stick starts out with spicy, pepper forward flavor. Though it’s going to be a strong cigar, there are notes of sweetness coming out as well. Actually, as I continue smoking for a few minutes, it becomes very rich and chocolatey, and the spices are already died down quite a bit!
The second third is a little more earthy, but the sweetness is still very apparent, and very satisfying. With that sweetness, a coffee flavor comes out big time! That earthiness that started coming out at the beginning of this section of the stick turns into a more leathery flavor. Almost immediately after that, I pickup on a very slight BBQ/grill smoke- very interesting, but welcome!
The final third is without a doubt the smoothest so far. Very little spice- especially through the retrohale. It is still very complex in flavor, and even has a bit of creaminess coming out, which is very surprising! There are also still earthy/oaky flavors. There is even a little bit of orange zesty flavor, that I get from time to time, in this stick! And, to finish it off, a very nutty flavor!
This is a great, full bodied cigar, with a bunch of flavor! So, come get yours, as supplies last!

Cigar of the Week 6/13/2025: Bentley White Robusto

Wrapper: Ecuador Connecticut
Filler/ Binder: Blend from Jalapa, Condega, Nicaragua

This cigar starts out with a really nice, mild sweetness. With that, comes a touch of cedar, which I always really enjoy! There are some light, spicy notes- but still a very mild smoke. As I continue to smoke, the sweetness dies down a bit, and before getting out of the first third, it’s starting to become very creamy!
The second third brings a really satisfying caramel flavor, and the spices are entirely gone at this point. The cedar is more of a rich oak flavor now, and there is just a touch of fruit that I notice. The last few puffs of the second third bring out notes of chocolate.
The final third is recapping this stick nicely as the creaminess is probably the most prominent it’s been, and the spices come back, just a tad. That said, I’m still picking up new flavors: vanilla and leather, that have also joined the party! And, the caramel from the start has evolved into a really rich, dessert-like flavor- especially with that continuing creamy flavor! And, to end this wonder cigar, notes of coffee come out.
This is one of my favorite more mild ci**rs we sell, and frankly, that I’ve had! So, come get yours as supplies last!
