We are excited to announce details for this year's raffle for Pappy Van Winkle's Family, BTAC and many more highly allocated whiskeys.

Over 250 of these rare/allocated bottles of whiskey will be available!! We will add more bottles to this list as they become available in next 30 days.

Whiskey bottles will be split in two raffle groups. The bottles per group are listed below.

HOW TO ENTER IN THE RAFFLE:

1. 3 punches --> 1 Raffle entry

2. The customers can get one raffle entry by walking in at all stores starting 12/16/2024(Monday).
One entry per customer limit on this. Please ask for paper entry to one of the store employees.
Duplicate entries will be removed.

Key Dates:
Raffle End Date January 20, 2025 at 9pm.

Jan 28th and 29th 2025, winners will be picked and contacted by phone for both groups.

Another superb single barrel from Rare Character, this time a 9-year-old rye.

No closed off neck pour on this one it pops out of the glass immediately with deep aromas of hard butterscotch candy, toasted marshmallows, and sweet mint.

The mid palate shows off classic huge rye notes including .

Gloves, nutmeg, white peppercorns, and fresh herbs.

The power and intensity continue to the long finish dry oak comes into play but is not overpowered sweet spicy notes bombard the palate long after each sip.

Busy week for barrel releases… This time it’s toasted rye.

LJ Penelope Toasted Rye Single barrel(barrel proof)

Dark yet translucent with red highlights, The nose is deep and concentrated with acroamas of fruity cough drops, and maple oatmeal, without a trace of heat.

In the mouth this rye shows a more herbaceous style while the black pepper and caraway seeds take more of a back seat which is all backed up by loads of toasty rich oak.

On the finish is where this rye truly sings with long notes of fresh herbs, butterscotch candy and charred oak. After 6 long years aging in Indiana this barrel appears to have been bottled up at its peak.

Barrels are continue arriving just in time for holidays!!!

LJ was able to secure one of the first single barrels in the state from Green River.

LJ Green River Bourbon Single Barrel

62% ABV

From one of the oldest distilleries in Kentucky this single barrel bourbon from Green River is a gem.

A luminescent burnt copper color suggests the intensity lurking in the glass.

An immediate sweetness pops on the nose with hints of cherry syrup, maple, and toffee candy.

In the mouth this bourbon shows nice complexity balancing in drier flavors of gloves, nutmeg, and medium charred oak.

At 124 proof this beauty is plenty powerful yet easy drinking leaving one with the long finish of sweet oak, fruity caramel and a whole spice rack of flavors.

LJ Corazon Reposado Single Barrel Aged In Blanton’s barrel

Just one quick glance at the color and you can tell that it has been bottled up in its natural state with no additives. The nose shows the pedigree of the Blanton's barrel offering up delicious aromas of peppery light smoke. The taste is similar to the nose with fresh ground black pepper up front that is met with more complex notes of baked earth, dry agave, and the slightest hint of sweet menthol. The mouth feel is where this tequila truly shines, the texture so soft, velvety, and easy to enjoy. This may be priced like a mixing tequila but it deserves to be drank straight up in your best glass.

LJ Corazon Anejo Single Barrel Aged in W.L Weller Barrel

Only a touch darker in color than its sister reposado barrel. Subtle bourbon notes on the nose back up the ripe agave that soars from the glass. The palate is light bodied yet powerful with persistent flavors of peppercorns, lemon zest, and rich oaky bourbon. The finish is long and balanced picking up a touch of sweetness and delivering flavors of toasted almonds, vanilla syrup, and baking spices. A beautiful example of mature tequila aged in a top tier bourbon barrel.

A gorgeous burnt orange appearance with aromas of fresh cut flowers, homemade bread, honeycomb dancing about. The palate is dense and muscular with powerful notes of rye bread, toasted poppy seeds, and cherrywood. Very full-bodied character makes you want to chew it instead of drinking it . The finish sits on the palate for seemingly forever, with flavors of dark honey, maraschino cherries, and tons of dry toasty oak coating the mouth. Intense and firm yet complex this is one to take your time with to let all the magic unfurl.
