Reminder that scheduled garbage/recycling pickup in the Village of Withee is Friday, December 27th. The trucks won't run on Christmas Day so the regular route is pushed back a day from Thursday to Friday.

This information was noted on the November water/sewer/garbage bills:
Effective 01/01/2025, GFL will be the new contractor for garbage/recycling. The new charge is $17.65/month/residence with the sewer/water bills which covers one wheeled 95 gallon recycling cart and one wheeled 95 gallon garbage cart. If you need a second garbage cart ($149.40 annual fee) or second recycling cart ($62.40 annual fee), you must call GFL at 715.669.3868 to arrange that additional service. GFL will mail a flyer with calendar and information in December 2024.

GFL is delivering the carts in the Village of Withee today. Don't start using them until January 1, 2025.

Hope to see you this Tuesday, December 3, 1pm, for a fun afternoon of Bingo. The Vets Club is on Main Street in Owen. Doors open at 12:30. Refreshments provided by the Legion Auxiliary. Bring a friend...or two. We play 5 cards for $1 or 25 cents per card. Everyone welcome.

You can also drop off deer hides at Hene Supply and the O-W Lions pavilion next to the drug store in Withee. (There are signs.)

Hunters! Please keep our children in mind this year when disposing of your deer hides. You can and WILL make a difference for many Wisconsin youth by donating your hide to help sponsor a camper. Last year, over $117,000 was raised for our campers.
