Limited supply of allocated whiskeys will be available throughout the county today! Trucks will be running all day, so there is no set time as to when these items will arrive or be available, but it will be at some point today! It will not be hidden once it is available, so please don't badger store employees. They also have no idea as to when their truck will arrive.

Good Tuesday afternoon to all of our Facebook friends!! We are seeking your help in identifying these fine young individuals that decided to tag-team and help themselves to a bottle of Don Julio Reposado from our Memorial Drive location. The incident occurred on Saturday evening around 4:45pm.

Want to act a Foolio and steal our Don Julio??? We get straight to business and we are strict!

Who doesn't like transparency??

Check out the map below that shows lottery winners. We do not know everyone's situations, so some of these that are out of county, could potentially be temporary residents.

The map and the numbers kind of paint the picture and should clear up some misconceptions that have been put out in regards to our lottery.

There seem to be some folks out there that have some information that we are not sure of and claim that our lottery is overrun with "outsiders."

Just because someone's ID doesn't permanently place them in Pitt County doesn't mean that they are not a regular customer of ours. Said it before, and will say it again, Pitt County is a hub of Eastern NC (University, Medical School, Industry, etc.) that draws in people from all over. These people, just like permanent residents, spend their time and their money in Pitt County. Without them, or the reasons they are in town, there is a very good chance that the volume of the items we receive that are in our lottery could deplete.

We understand other Boards set restrictions based on permanent residency, but we do not see it necessary to limit someone who is potentially a customer year round the opportunity to enter our lottery.

Our entry restrictions of having to enter in person (between 9am-4pm M-F) make it cumbersome enough that if you want to enter, you need to make arrangements. Not to mention, these restrictions make it a lot more convenient for our locals!

The stipulation of purchasing the bottle you are selected for, or being disqualified in the next years lottery also makes our lottery a little more restrictive for the chasers, because then they have to make the trip 2 times. If someone is dedicated enough to drive to Pitt County just to enter the lottery and then drive to purchase the bottle that they were selected for....kudos to them!

Our thoughts are that most of the individuals from outside of the county that were selected, have more invested in Pitt County than just the Bourbon Lottery. May be wrong, but that is just the feeling from talking to those individuals when they enter and come back and make the purchase.

We are very open to everyone, but to be honest, some of the bickering and nonsense that we hear makes us not want to do any of it! Wouldn't that be bad?! These bottles will sell without a lottery, or without drops, but we do what we do for you all!

We seek to have the most transparent and inclusive lottery to our customers, while also making it just difficult enough for those who are just in it for the chase.

To drop the mic here....we are going to continue to do things the way we see fit and the resolution for 2025 is to w**d out the negativity on here! We have the right to remove or block anyone from our page and plan to do so if the conditions warrant it.
