Laced with red fruit notes, baking spices, and a whiff of lemon balm, this is a GORGEOUS pairing for the Tday table! Served slightly chilled and be ready for everyone to forget about the food and obsess over this wine!

Definitely getting fall vibes now and a big richly textured Amarone from one of our favorites checks all of the boxes: layers of Amaro cherries, chocolate, ripe plums, great raisins, Bay leaf and coriander explode across the palate and oooohhhh that finish!! Try this with something braised or perhaps roasted and enjoy your evening!

If you’re looking for a WOW factor for your upcoming festivities, how about an ASTONISHINGLY beautiful non-dosage Chardonnay-dominant blend from Slovenia!!??! Hand harvested and sorted followed by resting on its lees for 4 YEARS!!!! Deeply complex with hints of apricot and pomelo with a side of buttered walnut bread on the finish, this is lovely and complex and limited!

We have Sauternes on the brain today and just thinking about the luscious, richly textured palate of fresh apricots, almonds, citrus blossoms, white pineapple, hazelnuts, and honeycomb makes us want to sit back and savor every gorgeous drop! Half bottles of these gorgeous, sweet-but-not-cloying wines with some pâté oooooohhhhhhhhh!!!! 97% Semillon, 3% Sauvignon Blanc and botrytis! # #

Btw surprised that the most popular wine last night was a VOUVRAY! 100% Chenin Blanc with its minerality, lemon dropish wild pear character from was the darling of the night! Still have bottles available too!

Sip for Paws with today! One of the highlights of our Grand Tasting this evening is sure to be this wild white; sister to one of our Wine Club Selections for November! and their white blend XXV is an intriguing blend of Chard, Viognier, Albariño, and Clairette spends time in neutral oak and a skosh of Acacia for complexity. The palate is a wave of fall pears, persimmon, meringue, lemon zest and a bit of fresh almond marzipan on the finish! Cannot wait for y’all to sample this one!

A lovely afternoon evaluating wines with the winemaker of and some GORGEOUSLY complex wines, including the thrill of a sparkling Müller-Thurgau laced with Hawthorne and wild pear notes and a refreshingly non-citrusy palate of fresh pine berries and nutmeg! Oh, and a 2018 Heritage Pinot Noir from their original vineyards planted in 1984? Fuhgeddaboutit! Wild berries, gorgeous structure, and a beautifully framed finish…stay tuned!

Our first Bottle of bubbles in our Wine Club is a hit! Organic and biodynamic 100% rosé of Pinot Noir from a vineyard outside Nantes, France. Made by and only 150 cases produced! Rich and fall-ish and soooooo delicious with plum jam and croissant notes…unfined and unfiltered, too! Limited amount remaining…

Sad news heading into the holidays: we just found out that one of our go-to holiday bargains from California has been disbanded and therefore discontinued. We only have a limited amount of the Bears’ Lair Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon and when they’re gone, they are gone forever!! So sad…

Fall weather alert! We scored a DEAL on a sumptuous Amarone from one of our favorite producers, and have it along with its’ baby sister (brother?) in the WineStation this weekend! Never had an Amarone? Here’s your chance to dry a beautifully structured powerhouse redolent of wild cherries and dark plums and mangosteen with a backdrop of leather, coffee, and mountain herbs… the Ripasso is a lighter version, utilizing the Marc of the Amarone to produce a lighter style… you don’t get to try the Ripasso alongside the Amarone very often, let alone e from the same great producer!

A real treasure showed up for our perusal today, the sister winery of Screaming Eagle (yes, THAT Screaming Eagle!!) ’s ‘Todos’ red blend from the niche area of Ballard Canyon in the Santa Ynez valley of California. We loved the exotic yet polished notes of the Syrah and Petit Verdot absolutely shine with the refined wildness of Viognier and Sangiovese adding complexity and savory notes to the bottle. Limited, but lovely!
