I personally have needed WSPD’s help a few months or so ago at our store. When the initial emergency happened, we dialed 911 but when other temptations from this person would happen, we’d dial the non emergency number. I even directed our employees to do the same.

I know how much time they had to spend at our location (while shootings, robberies and murders were happening) and it ended up being more than once, twice or even three times with this same “offender”. So, I am highly grateful for the assistance and getting us all back to safety and We are not willing to use the PD’s time for nonsense or take up the 911 dispatcher’s time when unnecessary. I hope you all will do the same! 🙌🤩

Y’all say a prayer for one of our employees, he was sent to the ER last night. They have admitted him, he has pneumonia. We just gained him a couple of weeks ago as an employee at the store. He’s been so dedicated to his job and wants to work so bad that he’s been riding his scooter from the north side all the way to Union Cross Rd in this cold, freezing winter weather. It’s at least a 50-55 minute ride on that thing.

Let’s pray that he gets better soon and has minimal damage to his lungs from pneumonia. 🙏🙏🙌🙌

Hey y’all, I am doing something new this year. I’ve always helped the needy, we have an ongoing fundraiser at our store to help needy children. But I want to change it up and expand what I’ve already been doing. I have a friend that is in with the homeless shelter in Greensboro, I donate to them often, my stuff and others.
I have this spare space in one of the buildings at the store that I’ve been wanting to use for something “special”. (Food bank, clothing closet, etc…).
I will share pictures of the progress and how it unfolds.

Without agents and their support, consumers would have to navigate their Medicare choices alone. There are many options for consumers to consider. Agent expertise helps them choose the right coverage. Help protect agents and sign the petition at https://beneficiarychoice.org/ now. (Before January 3rd, 2024)

CMS is attempting to handicap the local, independent agents like me who work hard to serve beneficiaries with integrity and honesty. This knee jerk reaction to the unethical greed driven call centers is very shortsighted and will only hurt our seniors! I have signed the petition and will send letters! Please do the same!!!

By joining our coalition to allow FMOs to continue to support agents and brokers, you’ll help ensure beneficiaries can still have access to numerous coverage options.

If any of you have noticed this guy in the parking lot trying to bum money off of you in the past month or two, well GOOD NEWS!! He’s now BANNED from the store. Due to a situation that happened yesterday evening 🤦‍♀️😣

If you see him on our property, please let us know. Tell an employee, Alexis or TJ and myself.

And if you ever feel uncomfortable with someone else like that, PLEASE reach out to us!! We want our store to be a safe, friendly, family oriented environment!!

We gracefully THANK YOU ALL for your love and support of our little store today AND throughout this past year we’ve owned the store‼️ We had an amazing turn out of current and new customers! Today was mainly about showing our appreciation to you, and we definitely felt the love! 

The kids absolutely enjoyed themselves had a complete blast on the slip and slide, the splash pad, and of course the foam machine 👀🤣🤩

The new Great Clips on Union Cross Rd at the Food Lion Shopping center in Kville even had a tent set up to dye the kids hair to advertise their new location. 🥰

The best part of my day was seeing those kids, happy and enjoying themselves and seeing families of our community, not customers, but families come together as one!

Hey everyone, can you believe it has been 10 months since we bought the store? And boy has it been a joy filled whirlwind! 10 months has flown by but at the same time it feels like so much longer!! With that said: We are getting busier and need more help.

EXPERIENCED HELP WANTED!!
Needs to be a sharp thinker, able and willing to do the following: stand 8 hours, stock the coolers/shelves (Beer, Drinks, Chips, Snacks, etc…), be friendly, speak to all customers, clean, experience selling lottery tickets is a plus but can be trained, have a clean/neat appearance, be drug and alcohol free, stay off your phone while on the clock, know how to practice safety measures, be willing to follow standard company procedures and guidelines.

Our Christmas Candy Fundraiser this year was a success! We were able to bless this little boy with lots of Christmas presents that he otherwise wouldn’t have received.

Thank you to all who bought some candy and/or donated to the cause. We will continue this each year with hopes to help more each year.
