This bespoke blend of 6 and 7 year Kentucky bourbon has been aged an additional 12 months in Bourbon County stout barrels, then married with a beautiful 9 year Kentucky bourbon, creating an expression bursting with chocolate malt and dried cherry.

TASTING NOTES
Dark chocolate, honey, toasted almond, and vanilla cream create an enveloping, decadent aroma. On the palate, roasted malt, cacao, and allspice lead to lasting balance of exquisite flavor.

Kentucky Christmas Morning~ Gingerbread Stout takes an initial transformation through months of aging in Kentucky bourbon barrels, reaching new levels of maturity with layers of vanilla, coconut, and toasted oak. Before bottling, the barrel aged stout is cold filtered through heaps of freshly cracked locally roasted coffee beans from Blanchard’s Coffee Co, showcasing the nostalgic joys of Christmas Morning

Bourbon Barrel GBS ~Gingerbread Stout is matured in Virginia bourbon barrels, where it adapts an incredibly mellow character with oak, caramel and bourbon undertones, and emerges 12 weeks later as Bourbon GBS.

Gingerbread Stout ~ Made with baby ginger and wildflower honey from local family-owned farms, Hardywood Gingerbread Stout captures the terroir of Central Virginia in a rich, creamy libation with a fresh snap of ginger in the finish.

It’s pretty hardcore for what’s otherwise a pretty family-friendly film, to be honest. Anyway, after Farquaad threatens to inflict further torture on the Gingerbread Man, Gingy screams out, “NOT THE BUTTONS! NOT THE *GUMDROP* BUTTONS!” ...and that’s where we got the name for this approachable, gingerbread latte-inspired stout. ...from a torture scene in a kids movie
