Starting to see people fishing off of North Beach. Word on the street is 6” of ice. We always recommend you check ice thickness as you head further out onto the lake. Stay safe and fish on 🎣!

Cowboy has been loving the off-season, snuggling on the couch and playing in the snow. However, these frigid temperatures have us dreaming of warmer days and another amazing summer at Cowboy's Backyard & Bar! ☀️☀️☀️

🎣❄️ We are less than a week away from Free Ice Fishing Day and the Ice Fishing Festival! ❄️🎣

On Saturday, January 25th, anyone, resident or nonresident, may go fish legal Vermont waters without a fishing license. If you're looking for an extra fun day, join us at Silver Lake State Park for our Ice Fishing Festival! We'll teach you ice fishing basics, from tip-ups to filleting fish.

Proceed with caution as it’s only been frozen for a few days.

North end just froze over last night.

Stop by the store for all your fishing (and snacking!) needs. We’ve increased our fishing section tenfold! Need a new tip up? We’ve got it. Need materials to repair your old tip up? We’ve got it. Need lures, line, or hooks? We’ve got it. Live bait. We’ve got it.
