We're proud to announce that our Toadstool Hartnet Amaro No. 4 has been awarded a GOLD medal at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). Hartnet now joins our Notom (Gold Medal 2023), and Hartnet (Double Gold 2022) as a gold or better showing at the nations premier spirits contest. Amaros are one of our primary passions...and we continue to be delighted to share this passion with the amaro community in Utah!

All good things come to an end...and sadly we announce the closure of Robbers Roost Distillery in Torrey. Our friends at Etta Place cidery need their space back after an expansion with a new cocktail bar & increased production. And rather than find a new space and start over, we're going to pull back and focus on Waterpocket (and some amazing new products in development). We met so many lovely new customers, did a ton of tastings with new folks, and got to know some wonderful people bringing fine dining, craft ice cream, coffee roasting and more to Torrey. Some of the Torrey only products like the new Blue John corn whiskey, the 110 proof light whiskey, and an incredible new wheat whiskey will be coming to the WVC tasting room under the RR label. We'll reboot the RR socials soon to reflect the new focus. We will always find inspiration in the fascinating history and magnificent landscapes of S Central Utah. That will never change. The Waterpocket story continues at our main facility in the Wasatch front...and our spirits will still be poured at campfire gatherings of friends, neighbors, and family across Utah. We've renamed this gem, with an name that suggests incantation and awe. Made from earthy and intense fermented and roasted whole cocoa beans, macerated in South American rum with dark roasted coffee, whole cinnamon, green cardamom, and finished with Ugandan vanilla, 4-year aged rum, and hint of sweetness.
