IMPORANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Are you running low on fuel tonight? Make sure you stop by! TOMORROW, JANUARY 3O, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. GCS will be without unleaded fuel while we receive and set a new unleaded fuel tank. Premium and diesel fuel will be available during this time. This change will help us with receiving and storing more fuel in the future. We appreciate your patience!

We will be closing at 8 p.m. again tonight so employees can get home safely. We also will open tomorrow at 7 a.m. so we have some time to get the parking lot clearing started and allow for employees to get into work safely! Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding!!

As of Jan. 1, 2025, Governor Laura Kelley implemented the final part of her food tax reduction legislation, which means there no longer is food tax on certain items sold at GCS. This mainly includes our groceries items such as candy, groceries, and frozen food. This excludes our kitchen items, fountains, and, of course, anything not related to this tax law such as beer, tobacco/cigarettes, medication, auto, etc. All items affected have been updated; however, the City of Waverly has a 1% tax rate on all items so the new tax rate on all of the food tax items affected is 1%. I am sure there will be questions moving forward when you view your receipt, so I wanted to get ahead of the curve and explain it to our customers!

We will be closed at 8 p.m. tomorrow on Christmas Eve and closed all day Christmas Day so our staff can enjoy time with their families. The kitchen will only take orders until 6:30 p.m. tomorrow night. However, the fuel pumps will be operational 24 hours a day. Have a joyous and safe holiday!

Due to the power outage scheduled tonight, our fuel dispensers will be shut down after 10:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. This will ensure they are protected properly from any power surges and will operate as expected once power is restored.
