We have been reduced to a pile of gravel and a few yellow pillars that were by the receiving doors. The planter still exists (for now) but the tree looks to have seen better days.

Since April 18, much progress has been made to tear down the mall bit by bit. So much debris in the lot. As of today, just us and the former Associated Bank remain.

Sentry Foods has been reduced to a few piles of debris. Looks like they started on the strip down by where True Hardware was. Sentry Liquor still stands currently, but the end is near folks!

The much-loved Bob & Kurt’s Sentry in Waukesha has announced its closing sale and hours.
According to a Facebook post, everything in the store is 20% off and greeting cards are 60% off. The sale started Monday.
The store’s hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Located at 2304 W. St. Paul Ave. in the Fox Run Shopping Center, Bob & Kurt’s Sentry has been in business for 18 years.

Today's The Waukesha Freeman confirmed that the Fox Run Sentry Foods will be closing. Closing sale will take place in January.

The Chase Bank will stay, but the former Denny's, long strip mall that we were part of and Sentry will be wrecking balled. Future plans include a medical building, apartments, and a fast food restaurant (to be named later). Though this is still in the initial planning phase, Sentry has decided to terminate its lease at the site.

To the Sentry staff, best of luck on your next ventures and thanks for being a great neighbor for all those years we were there.

Looks like it's the end of the road for this almost empty shopping center and time for new construction to come in. We closed nine years ago, so it's about time. Although we are sad for Sentry Foods.

A major redevelopment of the Fox Run Shopping Center in Waukesha would demolish the Bob & Kurts Sentry grocery store located there to bring 72 new apartments and medical offices.

Seven years this week the store closed. Many of us still stay in touch and we miss all of you.

Pete is working for Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly and Brandon will be a store manager at the new Kwik Trip (PDQ on 18).

Yep folks, it's been 3 years since the best liquor store in Waukesha closed. We miss working together, but luckily our friendships didn't end when the doors locked. :)

It's really hard to believe, but yes it's true - two years have gone by since we closed the doors forever! Trust us - if someone could front us the money and provide an amazing location, we would all gladly reopen the store. So many amazing memories!
