About the Owner: Martin Vigderhouse is the proud owner of Martin’s Wine & Spirits located at 1919 Florida Avenue, NW. As an expert in retail liquor sales, Martin has more than 40 years of experience in the industry. He got his start at a young age helping his father run Viggy’s Liquors, the family business in Northeast DC. In 1993 he branched out on his own and opened Martin’s Wine & Spirits. Vigd

erhouse, an American University alumna, has been providing the neighborhood with fine wines, craft beers and quality spirits for 23 years at his shop in the upper Dupont Circle neighborhood. If not, he’s probably relaxing at home with his two sons and sipping a nice glass of wine with his wife of 22 years.
