We sell Hatchland Farm Products and people love them. We have been asked about this and Hatchland Farms has issued this statement on their FaceBook page. It still tastes amazing!

This isn't the post we want to make, but we'd rather be transparent than pretend it didn't happen. This year we switched back to an egg nog mix that is very similar to our original base that we had used for years, until it was discontinued during Covid. This first batch did not come out perfect. The flavor is exactly what we want, but it's a bit thinner than it should be and it has separated. We believe that it has to do with the stabilizer that is used, that helps with the thickness and is supposed to keep the ingredients from separating. We want everyone to know that it is perfectly fine to drink, it will just need to be shaken up, first. We apologize for not having it "perfect", we hope that all is well with our next batch.
