We are hosting a Rosé wine tasting this Friday, 7/14 from 4-7PM!

We will have rosés from a variety of countries, come travel the world through your tastebuds!

Represented will be Austria, Greece, Hungary, France, and either Spain or California.

Tricollis rosé from Hungary is made from vines planted by the Romans over a thousand years ago, and has been tended by Hungarian monks for hundreds of years. Strawberry, raspberry, watermelon, cherry notes abound. This wine is a blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Pinot Noir, and 20% Cabernet Franc.

L’Esprit du Lac or ‘’the spirit of the lake’’ is the new rose wine from Kir-Yianni Estate. It captures the dynamic spirit of Xinomavro into an elegant refreshing rose wine. Light body, fresh acidity with peach and strawberry aromas. Greek rosé done in the French style.

Prieler rosé from Austria is light pink, with silver reflections. Red berries, white peach, hints of lime, mineral touch. Slim, red cherries, delicately like currants, subtly salty on the finish, versatile.

We are having a wine tasting this Friday, 12/30, from 4-6PM!

Stop by for a fun experiment where we are tasting the same grapes, but the difference being whether they are grown in the Old World vs. the New World!

We will be tasting two chardonnays, two pinot noirs, and two grenaches, one from the Old World and one from the New World.

Vietti 2018 Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco
"is a charming wine, both delicate and easygoing, that makes good on a promise to deliver basic Nebbiolo intensity and varietal purity. Small berry aromas, cassis and chopped mint emerge from the bouquet. To the palate, the wine is simple and streamlined, with mildly drying tannins on the close. (ML)" (6/2021)

Il Caviliere Pinot Grigio

Il Cavaliere has been producing fine wines from Friuli DOC since 1960. Their production is the result of a philosophy adopted and pursued with tenacity from pruning to tasting. To ensure the authenticity and refinement of the product we only vinify the grapes in our vineyards, located in the center of the Friuli Grave DOC area, characterized by geological ideal conditions for the habitat.

Ceccato Chardonnay
Fresh, fruity, varietal wine with a perfume of apricot and notes of exotic fruit. Well-rounded on the palate, it is ideal with fish based dishes and vegetarian cuisine.

We are having an American whiskey tasting this Friday, 7/15 from 4-6PM! Slaughter House American whiskey is 9 year aged and finished in ex-Bordeaux casks at $37.99. Whip Saw is a rye whiskey aged 7 years and finished in ex-Pinot Noir & Cabernet Sauvignon casks at $49.99. We hope to see you then!
