It’s Grapefruit Cordial time!

Our versatile new Grapefruit Cordial (grapefruit liqueur) is the synergistic combination of two beloved varieties of grapefruit. Locally grown oro blanco and ruby red peels are infused into cane spirit and sweetened with agave nectar in small batches, capturing the best of the tangy, sweet and bitter notes that make grapefruit the perfect compliment to…. well, anything. Drink it chilled, mix it in cocktails, add it to dessert recipes - however you decide to use it you won’t be disappointed!

As always with our special releases, this is a very small batch production. We have approximately 250 bottles total available starting right now so if you think you (or someone you know) is going to love this then don’t wait to order! Spicy Prickly Paloma 🌶️

June gloom has burned off and things are heating up. We harnessed the heat of a hundred pounds of local chili peppers to add a savory, spicy kick to our beloved Prickly Paloma. Our goal was to make it hot enough to give it a mischievous kick while remaining refreshing and eminently crushable!

We distilled a variety of peppers including habaneros, scotch bonnets and fresnos to capture their savory and fruity notes. We then used that hydrosol to make the "soda water" for the cocktail. We also infused our Opuntia with fresh habanero to get the perfect amount of spice. Doing all of that helped us avoid using the term ‘chili flavor’ on the can because there is nothing but real fruit in this cocktail!

Our limoncello is made from organic Ventura grown lemons. A unique aspect of our process is that we use the whole lemon- not just the zest. Zested lemons are juiced and distilled, and the resulting lemon hydrosol is used to dilute the final product down to bottle proof.

Something Old, Something New!

When our friends at Silent Springs Farm in Moorpark, CA asked if we had any ideas for their surplus blueberries, a liqueur lightbulb went off. Since April of this year, we've successfully transformed more than 14,000 lbs of local organic blueberries into one of the most delicious products we've ever released!

Introducing Pineau Bleu. Crafted in the same style as our beloved Tallien, this blueberry liqueur is 100% blueberry brandy combined with organic blueberry juice and organic cane sugar rested in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is almost too delightful to believe.

The perfect compliment to our Strawberry Liqueur, Pineau Bleu captures the true essence of fresh, organic blueberries. With a nod to the French aperitif, Pineau des Charentes, we fermented the berries with their skins on to bring through ALL of the wonderful flavors you'd expect from a handful of the fruit. The result is a well balanced and delectable liqueur perfect neat, with bubbles or even over a scoop of vanilla ice cream! However you choose to use it, we are certain you will be blown away.

Persimmon Brandy and Pommeau!

Harvest Time is upon us. The days are shorter, the nights are cooler and the farmers market tables are laden with Apples and Persimmons announcing the arrival of the holiday season.

We embarked on the journey of distilling these beloved tree fruit nearly six years ago and invited you to come along with us on a journey of discovery. Each year as leaves fell and wreaths adorned doors we offered these limited first runs one barrel at a time. Which brings us to today...

This marks the fourth and Final Expression of our inaugural efforts and the wait was worth it! Our final Pommeau release is aged 3 years and our final Persimmon Brandy is 5.7 years. Both are, without question, the best expressions we have ever produced. But...

We only have around 450 bottles of each available so definitely don't wait too long to place your order!!!

Happy National Cocktail Day!

Let’s keep the Amaro Angeleno love going and throw in some Wilder Gin while we’re at it. It’s a classic. The Golden Negroni. Cheers!

Ingredients:

1 oz Amaro Angeleno
1 oz Wilder Gin
1 oz Blanc Vermouth

Recipe:

Combine all ingredients with ice and stir. Strain over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange twist. Enjoy!
