Photo dump for the last few months.

Between carpool and swim lessons plus a junior high play and toddler dance recital, we found the time to get away for a week to playa del Carmen , go and have fun in Saint George for spring break, celebrate teachers, and bike with friends. Millie graduated from her first year of preschool. Oh, and we did a big remodel and paint job on our basement entertainment space. Life has been good and busy.

I guess I can be crafty every now and again. Mind you my craft room looks like a bomb blew off because the toddler sprinkled the small snowflakes like confetti all over the floor and the 12 year old came in with drama at 9:30 tonight. . Seriously, most days I don’t win hardly at all as a mom or a wife or a person, but tonight, I’m celebrating that these two cute jars to help some newly married ladies know they are the bomb turned out decently.
Thank you dollar tree and all the amazing YouTube bloggers that have given me this crafty itch lately.

🍑Fall is here 🍑
And we have been enjoying all the things… racing, fresh apples and produce from our box every week, freshe peach pies (probably 15+ in a few weeks), potty training the little, putting together Halloween playdoh , and I got a brand new way short hairdo 💇🏻‍♀️
I have been relishing in time with family, getting into the pta scene, and rocking my part time accounting gig and life really is good and hard and good.

This girl started her first day or preschool and I had the 7th grader at her orientation this morning. (No picture because I’m that mom🤦‍♀️)

It felt weird that the oldest and youngest started and the two middle children got to hang with me for one more day…but we partied by using their free cookie from great harvest that they got from last years fun run and using a red balloon 🎈 gift card that Eliza had kept from her music class!!!
I’m excited and anxious and nervous for this new season of motherhood. I pray often that heaven will help me from the pre-teen down to the threenager.

Seriously proud of my girls on the run girls today!!! They came and conquered a 5k. Most kids 8-11 have never probably even ran half a mile. I’m so grateful for a program that empowers girls to be amazing the way they are and try new things!!! Thankful to have seen a daughter light up with joy in knowing she had friends and was doing something worthwhile.

It’s been months since I posted anything. Not that I haven’t wanted to post, there have been a ton of noteworthy things to share... house projects, kids growing, etc. but I just haven’t felt like sharing so I have stayed quiet.
I’m thankful for good days when I can scooter with my girls. Rainy days when we can use our “bumbershoots” as Mrs Jean calls them. Early mornings when we get to go to the temple for the first time with my young women. Bright days when my Buddy draws a picture of his savior. Happy days celebrating my neice getting married and taking pictures with my family all dressed up.
Life is good even in the hard seasons. Today I just wanted to share some grateful moments of the last month to help me remember.
