Multiple retail shops on Tybee are hiring for seasonal Spring and Summer help-2023

Spring and Summer are Tybee’s peak season which means many people travel to Tybee. The shops are busiest during these months and we are needing to fill positions starting from 1 pm up until 11 pm in some of our stores. Holidays are the busiest weeks on the beach. We need to cover nights, weekends, and holidays. Please apply if you are flexible and can work the aforementioned shifts.

Qualifications:
* retail or sales experience
* transportation on and off the island lined up prior to beginning job
* ability to lift up to 30 lbs, multiple times a day
* must be able to climb a ladder
* standing or walking in the store is required
* must be able to work afternoons and evenings, weekends and holidays (busiest times and days)
* must be comfortable speaking to tourists and strangers
* must be able to be away from their cell phone during work hours
* must be on time for scheduled shifts, allowing time for traffic situations coming on and off the island, using a GPS app to help navigate
* must be able to receive basic verbal instruction on a daily basis, and multi-task

We are officially in “off season” on Tybee, which means, things are running a little slow and easy 🐢. We are officially on Tybee Time! We have some 50% off sales on some souvenirs and sweatshirts and long sleeves. We also have some great deals on hoodies and crew neck sweat shirts. The more you buy, the more we cut you a deal💰
$5 racks are full of shoes and t-shirts, and you’ll find some retro visors and thermoses that are great deals!
Our staff is friendly and full of information to lead you to a good restaurant, fishing spot, local bar, dolphin cruise, and the local public restroom. We know it all. Stop by the first surf shop you see on your right, the one with the big shark waiting to take a selfie with you 🦈 🤳🏻
