Our Story

It all started as an idea: to create a gift store filled with different things shoppers had never seen before. Thus, the Nifty Things concept was born and soon after, became a reality when we opened our first location in 2006. The reason we’ve been successful all these years is no secret. We have the best people. We work hard. We sell unique items (way before other shops get them). We change almost half of our inventory several times a year. And, most importantly, we have fun doing it! It’s what keeps our vacationing friends and Michigan neighbors coming back time and time again -- because you truly never know what we’ll have in store.
