On August 11th the A5 in 300 plastic comes out. The A5 has become an absolute staple in my bag. Any time I need a hyzer shot from 100ft to 250ft I grab my A5. So far the A5 in 300 plastic seems to be a touch more Overstable. However, I'm sure once it beats in it will be more straight. Airborn Disc Golf Stryder will be releasing on August 11th and goodness is this disc great! It's got glide for days and a super straight to a soft predictable fade finish. I can trust this disc on backhand and forehand for pure and clean shots. This disc is made by Prodigy Discs for Cale Leiviska's company Airborn Discs. With a nice thick midrange feeling rim at a 6-speed, this disc fits so comfortably in my hand. Prodigy Discs First Run A5 June 23rd Release. The Prodigy A5 is the next release for prodigy's new A-series standing for approach. The flight numbers on these discs are 3/4/-1/1. So far for me, this disc has been more overstable than the flight numbers call for it to be, at least for me here in northern Michigan at 843ft above sea level. It flies very smoothly with a good bit of torque resistance and a very predictable fade. More tongue resistance than any of my A4s or P Model US in proflex. Overall the plastic feels incredible, the grip is great for either power grip or fan grip on both forehand and backhand. I was looking forward to a prodigy disc that truly fits the -1/1 in a slower speed disc, but for me, this ain't it. Soon I'll have to try out the P Model US+ to see if that will fill the gap in my bad to a stable to under stable approach disc. Have had a chance to try one yet? How did it fly for you? Check out the Mint Discs Jackalope for a nice control driver. This disc is so shot shape-able with so much glide. You can even get some enormous distance with this 8-speed disc thrown on a powered hyzer line as shown in the video. This throw went just over 400 ft according to disc. Have you tried this disc yet? Hello everyone, join us in welcoming Keaton Youker to Team Tilley's. Keaton is a younger player at 19 years of age who has only been playing for a year and a half. In his short period of playing he has already seen some great accomplishments in the sport. In his first year, he was able to basket up 8 aces and finish in 19th place in the Michigan Amature State Championship in MA1. Keaton's top 3 current discs are Discmania Discs PD, Discraft Zone, and Innova Champion Teebird. Keaton will be playing in the MA1 Division in the season of 2022. We look forward to seeing you crush more drives this year and grow even more in this wonderful sport we enjoy. One of our favorite questions to ask our players is what their go-to song for the walk up to the tee pad is.
