For this , we have the Madelyn Red Wine Cuvee from Napa Valley; a celebration of “the everyday things that make our lives full and content.” The 2020 harvest was very low yield, so this wine is almost entirely Cabernet Sauvignon (95%!), with splashes o Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc to fine tune the natural richness of the Napa fruit. Plush and velvety with black fruit, spices, cedar, and vanilla. Named for Michael Trujillo’s daughter, Sophia Madelyn.

On these cold weekends we’ve decided to open up a and share it with you!
For our first we will be featuring
Pinotage! Beeslaar was founded when winemaker and long-time Pinotage lover, Abrie Beeslaar had a chance to produce a site-specific wine from the old bushvine Pinotage grown at a unique plot near the Simonsberg mountain. The cool mountain winds inhibit the growth of the bushvines, which in turn produce smaller bunches of smaller berries, with higher concentrations of color and flavor. At the same time, longer growing seasons allow a pronounced complexity to develop. Beeslaar captures the powerful expression of these grapes through fermentation in an open-topped concrete container, followed by 20 months aging in carefully selected barres. The results are rich and earthy, with heady incense, spices, and tart cherry and plum.

We’re sticking to our regular hours Thursday to Sunday 11-6 and Wednesdays by chance or appointment.

for December is here!

With the twinkle of the Christmas lights amidst the snowflake flurries I’m feeling festive and nostalgic. As a child growing up in Belgium, one of my most indelible memories was the family’s annual trek to a Christkindlesmarkt, those charming Christmas markets in nearby Germany.
 
Like out of a fairytale, these little picturesque towns glowed with their warm lights. The frosty air was filled with the warm aromas of mulled wine and toasted chestnuts while sounds of little silver bells ringing accompanied small groups singing carols.
 
You can’t get more storybooks than this, and it was both real and magical! How can the rest of my life stand up to these great souvenirs? Pat and I are looking forward to creating a whole new generation of happy traditions beginning this December, Ernie’s first Christmas and holiday season.
 
In the spirit of those warm memories, we have three German wines to share with you—not the kind you heat up with spices to fill the house with aromas (although we are happy to get you some mulling wine and spices while you’re here!)—but rather three wines that will be lovely to celebrate the holidays, whether it’s while opening presents, having brunch or rolling into a festive feast. We wish you and yours the warmest and most memorable of holidays…joyeux noël!

They will introduce us to 3 extraordinary wines from small family-owned vineyards from Spain and France. They focus on niche wines, prioritizing organic, biodynamic, and sustainable practices.

We’re excited to share three unique wines highlighting Italy’s hidden gems for this month’s wine club. Of the over 10,000 different grape varieties in the world, 1,368 are native to Italy. And while classics like Sangiovese, Barbera, and Nebbiolo dominate our wine fridge, we’re grateful for this opportunity to introduce you to three lesser-known Italian varieties.
 
These selections are rich in history, crafted with care, and offer a fresh perspective on Italy’s vast winemaking heritage. To kick it off, our "Wine-Up for the Holidays Shindig" on November 23rd from 3 to 6 p.m., with many special guests! *See below!

Thanksgiving Week:
We will be open the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving from 11 to 6 pm and closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Saturday, November 30th, is Three Oaks Snowflake Stroll! From 3 to 6 pm, we will host Stranger Wine Company for a special tasting.

Saturday, December 7th, from 2 to 5 pm, Vino Vi & Co will be here for a tasting event.

Saturday, December 14th, we are co-hosting a wine dinner at Granor Farm with LOCI wines (only a few tickets remain!)

Saturday, December 21st, we will have Nick Bland here from Skurnik with some bubbles for the season's festivities!

Christmas Week:
We will be open Monday, December 23rd, from 11 - 6 pm. Closed as usual Tuesday the 24th and Wednesday the 25th.

New Years Week:
We will be open Monday, December 30th, from 12-5 pm and Tuesday, New Year's Eve, from 11 am to 3 pm.
We will be closed on New Year's Day and Thursday, January 2nd, for inventory.

No breaks planned for the New Year just yet, but we'll let you know if that changes.
