This morning I learned that a my dear friend and team member at V**e Boss had passed away last night. my mother and I spent several hours with his parents tonight. The details of Matthew Alfords passing are still coming together and under investigation. This is a terrible accident and we ask that people respect the privacy of his family, friends and co-workers until further information is released, the store will re-open once we feel it is appropriate. Pray for Matthew, his parents, family and everyone mourning. He had heart of gold, and will forever hold an impact on our lives. Godspeed, Matthew. Till we meet again.

*** There will be a community candlelight vigil held at V**e Boss outside at the corner of the building today, Sunday, January 21, 2024 @ 5:30PM. If parking is limited please park at the church behind the building or across the street and not the gas station. I will provide as many candles as I can possibly find for people to light, hold, and display, everyone is encouraged to also bring candles and anything else you would like to leave for Matthew. If you have any photos you’d like to share please bring them or send to me beforehand so I can print them out. They will be added to the memorial and given to his family. Matthew said V**e Boss was his favorite place to be, and I believe everyone he met here had a significant contribution to that feeling. If you got the chance to meet him, even just once it would mean a lot if you dropped by and held a candle for him***

We have moved further into town! We are now located at 1529 E Jackson St, in the same building as Pet Stop! We are on the left side and the pet store is on the right. It will be a couple of day’s before our phone is working again so message us on here if needed. We aim to have a sign on the building within the next couple weeks. I can’t thank everyone enough for being patient with us the past couple months and while we get settled. You’ll be seeing / hearing more soon!
