When tragedy strikes this small community always steps up. That is what makes me proud to live in Theodosia.

Over the weekend we set up a collection jar for the young Dirmirsky family.
Darci and her baby girl, Dawna Kay, were in a car accident near Wasola. They were air lifted to Cox South. Darci's injuries were minor but her baby Dawna was transferred to Children’s Mercy in KC. This sweet baby girl is currently on a ventilator and being monitored with severe head injuries. Darci and her husband Jordan are a sweet young couple that live locally. They need to focus on their daughter and her recovery. As parents they need to be by their daughters side and they will be off work to do so. Savings can only take them so far and bills will continue.
