This tax would add over $10 to the price of a 30ml at 6mg of ni****ne. Please do everything you can to help fight this.

Urge Congress to reject a tax on safer ni****ne products like va**ng, snus, and smokeless to***co that would be the same as the tax on ci******es, the most harmful to***co product.

Hey everyone! We need your help! There is a tax bill in the house that is UGLY for our adult v**ers! It imposes 7cents per milliliter on a bottle of eliquid. This means that if you purchase a 30 ml bottle of 3 mg, you are paying a tax of 2.10. But if you purchase a pod of .7 ml at 50 mg, you pay .07. And they are saying this will dissuade youth from va**ng, when the youth seek out the high ni****ne pods.

Please go to this link https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home. This will tell you who represents you in the house of representatives and their contact number. CALL THEM NOW! And tell them the following;
Your name and that you are their constituent
You oppose HB 211
It has a NEGATIVE Fiscal note. HB 211 had 56 pages of opposition to it as well as personal testimony in committee from the health organizations and PTA opposing this bill as well!
Tell them why:
It taxes high ni****ne products that the youth seek for a buzz at 7 cents and the lower ni****ne products that adults seek to ween down at $2.10. That will do nothing but incentivize our youth to purchase these big to***co high ni****ne systems and hook them harder and faster.
Why this bill even passed committee with all negative comments and a negative fiscal note, you have no idea, but it must be killed. Please ask them to vote NO to HB 211!
