We're so honored and proud to be apart of the Tempe History Museum 's Tempe Signs exhibit! Thank you to those who came out to say hi to us at the opening reception last night. It was an amazing feeling to see our family's legacy in a special place among other amazing Tempe businesses from the past and present. Special thanks to Josh Roffler for putting this whole thing together, and for being so kind to us. Hope you'll stop by sometime to see this spectacular exhibit!

Hello everyone. It's been a little over a year now since we closed our doors and it's sure been a long year. We miss seeing all our customers and having access to fresh chorizo like you all do I'm sure. Just wanted to give a quick update since we do see your messages on here. At this time there still aren't any new plans or updates on when we're going to reopen the chorizo business elsewhere. That's a big endeavor that unfortunately is going to take at least a few more years before we get things started again. More than likely won't happen until the current Bill's Market property sells. Apologies for the longer delay of chorizo but it will come back eventually, we promise you that.

Now as I'm sure some of you have noticed, the Bill's Market sign from the top of the building was removed a couple months ago. We're very honored to announce that it's going to be on display at the Tempe History Museum for their new sign exhibit. The opening reception is going to be this upcoming Thursday, September 14th at 6pm. The exhibit will be up until the end of January, so if you're interested in going to see some of the memorable signs from the Tempe area, including ours, that'd be appreciated. Thanks again for the continued love and support of the Bill's Market name. Until next time.

Just letting everyone know that Bill's Market just closed early for the day, and to an extent forever. We are so grateful for everyone that showed up this week and wished us farewell. To everyone who was unable to get our chorizo, we apologize again. Know that this won't be the end of Bill's Market's chorizo and legacy.

Till the next chapter,
The Bill's Market Family

One more day. We're about to open this morning and serve as many people as we can. Thanks again for the outpour of support this week from everyone. Like previously said before, we've hit numbers never even thought of before this week. Please bear with us as the line is definitely longer than what we can serve. We know of the people who've gone every day and got some, and we know of the ones using their kids who can barley hold bags of chorizo to get another 5 Pounds... But we can't exactly kick people out of our store when we have a line of hundreds of people and we're selling over 600 pounds within 2 hours, and we're all exhausted.
We just ask that if you're one of those people, maybe don't come back tomorrow? Everyone in that huge line deserves to at least get something. Regardless, I hope everyone waiting stays cool and understands when we run out that we're doing the most we can. Today the staff is even shorter today, so it's going to be rough on them. Please bear with us, but know we are extremely grateful again for the love and support.

COMPLETELY SOLD OUT OF CHORIZO UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING!
WE SOLD OUT AT 9:30

06/16/2022

Thank you everyone for the support today. We easily broke a record for the amount of customers we had in our store. We apologize again to everyone who was unable to get chorizo and waited in that line for hours. All we can say is keep trying and we're going to keep making as much as we can for you. On that note:

For the remainder of this week, we are no longer selling the Mixed Chorizo. Just hot and mild. If you want mixed, get a couple pounds of each and mix it yourself at home.

Doing this will just help make the line move faster for everyone, while making things slightly easier on us. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello everyone. For the rest of this week, we're no longer accepting any chorizo orders. We've gotten a high amount of them in just the past couple days, and the amount of chorizo it'll take to fill those will take away from everyone else. We now have a first come, first serve policy. The orders made with us on Saturday and early this morning in person will still be honored, but that's all.

I understand we originally said we would accept orders, but with the high demand we simply can't anymore.

We still have the Only 5 Pounds Per Customer Per Day policy.

We're working hard to make a lot more and it'll be ready for opening tomorrow and that's what we plan to keep doing through Saturday. Thank you for your understanding.

Bittersweet. We thank you all again for your support and patience this week.

*Chorizo Limit*

Attention Bill's Market customers: due to the extremely high demand of chorizo this past weekend, we've had to put a limit. 5 Pounds Only Per Customer, Per Day. We apologize that we have to do this, but it's the only way to ensure everyone is able to get some. You may come in to purchase 5 Pounds and then order ahead for the next day and you can keep doing that till Saturday.
Also our phone has been going off nonstop and we've decided that we won't be making orders ahead of the time. It'll be first come, first serve unless you make an order in person.

Again the limit is 5 pounds of chorizo per customer, per day. We truly appreciate all the love and support we've gotten and hope to see you all again when we reopen on Tuesday. Have a safe weekend.

Dear Bill's Market Customers,

We want to let you know that this coming up week will be the last week that the store is open. Saturday, June 18th will be our last official day. We apologize for any inconveniences this will cause, but Bobby and Mary and Jesse have reached the point in their lives where they need to retire. Bill's Market has been in our family for 62 years as of the beginning of this month, and we want to say that it won't be gone forever. Eventually the grandkids plan on reopening in the future and continuing the legacy, but we can't say when. They're all still young and are planning on doing it when they're ready, so just hang in there. The chorizo will definitely be made again in the future. It will also more than likely be in a new location, or maybe even in more than one location if things work out. Regardless we'd like to thank you for the many years of support and love we've received. It's truly made an impact on our lives. So again, Bill's Market will be open until the end of next Saturday the 18th and we hope to see you all during our final week.
