Always an honor and a pleasure when I see Heyday Records artists re-issue old albums that we once upon a time released on the Heyday label. I often think of the days when Heyday was only a record label. We still release new artists but not as often as we used to. Heyday is mainly an events company now specializing in live sound, video, etc.

David J (Bauhaus/Love & Rockets) stopped by the Cleopatra office today to sign some copies of the new reissue of his excellent solo album Embrace Your Dysfunction. Check the Cleopatra website next week for these.

Heyday’s ROCKABILLY RUMBLE Car and Motorcycle CONCERT with Baja Moon Cerveza

When I first started playing guitar I discovered some of the early rock & roll pioneers like Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens. I loved that roots style and soon discovered other bands such as the Stray Cats.

Rock Therapy btw, in my constantly overthinking mind, has become somewhat of a personal anthem often bouncing in and out of my head during difficult and confusing times.
