We just got in two new offerings from Lunazul. Primero Plata and Primero Reposado. These are single estate agave tequilas and are absolutely delicious. I am not just saying that, we have tried both. The Plata has a wonderful crisp nose with a beautiful, smooth agave taste. And the repo is as smooth as you want it to be.

For the price you cannot find a better tequila.

It's going to be a great today. Probably won't even rain! Summer is officially here along with the humidity....just ask my hair. Lol

We did a single barrel with Whistle Pig a couple of years ago. It was good. It was certainly better than the regular shelf variety of the 10-year.

However, to contract another barrel from them so soon, the whiskey would HAVE to be special. It IS and we DID.

This juice actually noses like a very old and rich bourbon. It is light and playful with a layered mouthfeel. The front is sweet with caramel notes. The finish has a hint of that spice from rye but finishes warm and smooth.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best that Whistle Pig has ever put out.

At 111 proof you will be very impressed. $94.99 per 750ml.
