WHISKEY WEDNESDAY MINI RAFFLE
March 19th

To kick off Whiskey Wednesday, we are going to raffle off the chance to buy an Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage 2014 (approximately $39 including tax), a Penelope Havana (approximately $110 including tax), a Midwinter’s Night Dram Act 12 Scene 6 (approximately $153 including tax) and a Rare Character Exceptional Series Wheated Bourbon Whiskey (approximately $158 including tax). There will be 4 separate winners. Here’s what you need to do…

1) Purchase a Bourbon, Scotch or Whiskey or ask for a complimentary entry at either location* (members receive 10% off retail prices on Wednesday and joining is free)

2) Ask to be added to our Bourbon Newsletter (if you are already on the list skip this step).

3) Crack open your new bottle, pour yourself a nice cocktail and keep your fingers crossed. Then check your email about 11am on Thursday to see if you are the winner.

☕️ 2 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur

☕️ 1 oz vodka

Happy fRYEday! 🥃

Cam & Scott (with some help from Angela) were lucky enough to sample two Private Release Ryes from our friends at Barrell Craft Spirits today…

Both samples are microblends of Ryes distilled in Indiana and Canada. These are non age stated and are given a secondary cask finish.

-BOURBON CASK FINISH - 115.74 proof

-RUBY PORT FINISH - 128.02 proof

Both samples were outstanding, but there was a unanimous decision. We all chose the Rye finished in a Bourbon cask and that was not what we predicted beforehand!

This future store pick is a little sweet with maple and oak on the palate and hints of frosting and spice on the lingering finish. If you add a drop of water, there is some caramel thrown in there too. This bottle is PERFECT for those of you that prefer Bourbons and are “wary” of Ryes.

This Private Release Blend will arrive in a few months and we are super excited. It will be the 12th store pick from Barrell in the last 4 years.
